The company was established Sept. 3. 1974 with 6 employees in rented workshop. The operation of the company was based on production and maintenance for the smelter industry.

The company is situated close to our main customer, Hydro Aluminium. The company has developed gradually, and by 1990, there were 25 persons employed in the company. This period investments in new machines were carried out. A new welfare and administration building was built, and the workshop was bought. In 1996 the company expanded the workshops by app. 700 sqm., the number of employees was 30.

In 2004 we employ 44 persons, included 3 trainees. Workshop capasity is 2000 sqm., well equipped. Was merged with former IMPEC in 2009 and are now employing 55 persons. 

IMPEC AS will only use partners and suppliers with experience from aluminium smelters and Rodding Shops to ensure lasting quality. We are located in Årdal - Norway.
